Vienna was bred by my good friends Paula and Mike Randal of Zakasia German Shepherds.
Vienna is a very special girl because both her parents are Champions.
Her Mother is Champion Jasueter Ivory Lace at Zakasia........
And her Dad is Champion Nikonis Colin...Seen here recently winning the 2008 British Sieger.
As you can see, they are both standard coated and yet Vienna has an abundant long coat. She does take after Mum and Dad with her terrific shape though, but no doubt her standard coated siblings will be qualifying for Crufts at around the same time Vienna is being shown at the W.a.l.c.s.s.
(The white & long coat German Shepherd Society) These shows are especially for long coated dogs.
Vienna is fondly known round here as 'Skippy' ( hence this music !! turn your speakers up !!) or bedsprings, this is because she is like a kangaroo, bouncing everywhere, full of life and full of energy !! She has such a kind and loving personality, plenty of drive and a brain to match.
She is an extremely outgoing and friendly girl, loves everybody she meets, and has no hesitation in letting them know this !!
Here she is aged 4 weeks and still at Zakasia.
I am very lucky to have this girl ! And I know it !! lots of people were interested in her and I can't thank Paula and Mike enough for letting us have her, she is a real star and will be a major asset to our breeding plans.
This is another friend trying to 'steal' her at 5 weeks, she was very 'stealable' !!
At 7 weeks, came to Krisannrio, and was a bouncing bundle of pure mischief !! Very bold and confident with the older dogs, she was immediately adopted by Shanti, who did everything for her, and treated her like she was her own pup, you can view a short video of Shanti and Vienna's first day together by going back to the home page and following the YouTube links.
Once she had Shanti's protection, she was then introduced to a few of the others, always bold, never fearful, she found her place very quickly and because Shanti had adopted her she was allowed to take liberties with the others that she wouldn't have normally got away with, hence she is very confident and holds her position within the pack well.
She was a terror of a puppy, always getting herself into mischief and bother, she thought that our two cats had be provided for her personal enjoyment to chase and is still very much of that opinion !!
Vienna discovered the joys of an empty trifle pot in this next picture, see the rest of the pictures and many more in Vienna's puppy pics gallery by clicking on the picture below:-
Seen here, on the right, with her sister Vera at ring craft class.
Learning how to stand properly..
At dog club with Laska.
Learning to swim at Glenbrittle....
And loving every minute of it !!!
Stood here outside dog club, by Mike, one of her breeders, looking good skippy !!
Vienna has always been stunning, but she is maturing into an absolute cracker......now 11 months.
There is nothing Vienna enjoys more than the beach, she really loves it.
She is a strong bitch and incredibly agile, she loves ball play and would happily retrieve all day if allowed to.
