  Krisannrio Princess LaskaDOB 19th March 2007Hip scored March 2008, score - 5 :6 Laska is our pride and joy, she was bred here at Krisannrio, Laska is Shanti's Daughter. Here is Shanti, Laska's Mum, Laska is snuggled in all her belly fluff along with 5 others !! They are 1 day old here.  This is her sire is Kingsblood Thorin of Rockforce (Vadar)  Here she is aged 4 weeks  Laska has been raised on a raw diet from the age of 3 weeks, she loves her bones and meat and we manage to get quite alot of fruit and veg into her also, by combining it with a minced meat. Aged 5 weeks    Seen here at 8 weeks, her ears are being held half-mast, on their way up.  Her ears went up all the way at 9 weeks old.  11 weeks  12 weeks     Laska went through a bad time teething, which is quite usual for most pups, this is the stage where - if the ears are already up as in Laska's case, when they begin to cut adult teeth the ears can go back down again for a time. It is nothing to worry about and the ears will come back up in time. Here she is with one ears back down again at aged 13 weeks.  Then the other on went back down in sympathy !! Here aged 14 weeks.  Then one came back up at the age of about 17 weeks, this is an unfortunate age for a shep, all legs, tail and ears !! Plus they have lost alot of their puppy fluff and the adult coat has yet to come through. The sable coat goes through many changes and can take years to reach a final colouration although it has generally settled by the age of around 3 years.  Learning to swim next to Mum  Below, she has reached the grand old age of 5 months.  Here she is swimming in our pool, she was vey relaxed and enthusiastic about it because she had already learnt to swim in the sea. During the summer months she would swim in it every day, she never got fed up with it !!  Check out loads of Laska on her own You Tube videos below :-  Laska's temperament is so like Shanti's, they are like two peas !! She too has a high drive and eager willingness to work and learn, she adores the water, just like her Mum and will retrieve all day if allowed. She is 5.5 months here, showing correct angulation and looking very promising indeed ! notice the black of her saddle is more intense and defines as the sable patterning becomes apparent, notice it is also becoming darker on her shoulders.  The coat length goes through many changes until it reaches maturity, here you can see at 6 months she has all of her adult coat through and feathers are starting to develope, coat starting to lengthen and thicken.    Here she is enthusiatically sniffing the raw tripe, she loves it and would eat it far more than twice a week if allowed!!!     Here is Laska aged 10 months with our latest addition to the pack - Vienna, who can be found on her own page.Laska has become a rather large girl, she is 26 at the withers and still growing !! When she stands next to Mum these days, she is bigger !!  We are delighted with the way Laksa has turned out, she is a much larger version of her Mum, Shanti, and has one of the most impressive heads I have ever seen on a bitch.
