i have just spent the afternoon looking over your site. Its brilliant i am in love with shanti, what a geogous dog she is.and what a lovely life they all have. shanti reminds me so much of my german shepherd who i lost a few years back. for that reason i am very interested in the pup you call harley [love the name!] do you think he will be light colored? and do you still have him? am i right in thinking you will breed shanti this year? i would be very keen to see what her puppies are like. i will visit your site often to see whats new.

Hi Ann
Just read your vaccination page - brilliant! As you know we don't vaccinate beyond the puppy jabs and haven't done in over 30 years of owning sheps - haven't had any parvo or anything else that the vaccines are supposed to prevent.
I think your page is a great resource for your puppy owners ... and for the rest of us - keep it up missus!!

Louis is a three year old Collie/GSD mix. He had his first annual vax and was poorly afterwards, so I was concerned when the next one was due. He had no reaction to that though. Even so, he will not be having any more and neither will Sasha my Belgian Shep who is almost ten now. She has had chronic Inflammatory Bowel Disease for the last five years, and gets a lot of lumpy cysts on her body.
My first three dogs had only the puppy vaccs, and lived to healthy old ages. But Jack, my GSD died from cancer at six, Tim from a tumour at three, and as mentioned, Sasha has had a lot of problems. These dogs have all had vaccs annually. Seems pretty conclusive to me and I will NOT be vaccinating them again. Thank you for making this article.

Hi Ann & Chris,
Just been looking at your Puppy Gallery, it's fantastic!! Thanks so much for putting Obi on there, we are so proud!! He is turning into a stunning boy and has a fab character, everyone who has met him loves him and wants to take him home. We cannot thank you enough for giving us the opportunity to have such a wonderful dog in our family!! He is getting very large and chunky as you can probably tell by the photos. We cannot wait to come and see you all very soon , just let us know when it is ok with you and we will bring him for you to see how well he is doing. Thanks again. Love Wendy xx
